This document provides an overview of a project life cycle at ISDL. It describes the general progression a project takes, the design and development methodologies used, and the roles and responsibilities of design team members. It is intended for ISDL developers and potential employees to help them understand the methods and artifacts used to further the development process. It also covers the makeup, relationships, and responsibilities within the design team.

Design &
Development

The development process we follow is based on methodologies commonly described in object-oriented design literature, modified to reflect our experience with designing and maintaining reusable code. The project life cycle is divided into two phases - an expository phase and an iterative development phase. >> more

Team

The composition of our design team reflects both the need for experience with object oriented analysis and design and expertise in the problem domain addressed by product being produced. The following desription is for a team being formed in our Bangkok office and reflects the fact that this team will be extending a proprietary look and feel and developing components for a collaboration environment. >> more
