Job Description: Associate Java Programmer II or III

International Software Design Labs (Thailand) Co. Ltd. is a newly formed subsidiary of ISDL Inc., a privately held California corporation specializing in the design and development of standards-based collaboration software for the Java™ Platform. We are currently recruiting for a new design team in our Bangkok office.

We are now interviewing candidtates for an Associate Java Programmer postion. This position is targeted at the Associate Programmer II or III level. Successful candidates are expected to have a working knowledge of the J2SE API and UML, as well as a good understanding of the object oriented paradigm and design patterns.

The primary responsiblilities for this position include UI design, developing custom UI components, and extending ISDL's proprietary LookAndFeel classes. The person taking this position will become the team's technical lead for text components and the application of XML technologies in the domain of non-structured data (text processing). This work is key to the applications currenlty under development and scheduled for development.

The qualified candidate will have;

  • a good command of spoken and written English
  • a Computer Science degree
  • a minimum of three years relevant experience
  • a working knowledge of the J2SE API
  • a working knowledge of UML methodologies

The salary range for Associate Programmers is 25,000 to 40,000 Baht per month. The level of compensation for this position will be based on knowledge of the relevant technologies and experience.
